Mechanical Inspection : Perform dimensional inspections, weld inspections, fit-up checks, structural verification, and torque verification using tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, calibrated torque wrenches, and other precision instruments to ensure fabricated and assembled components meet drawing specifications and tolerances. When non-conformances are identified, Inspectors must document them appropriately (using NCMRs or other company systems), communicate findings clearly to production teams, and subsequently verify that corrective actions have been completed and validated before product release.
