Current Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 0–1 year of technical IT support experience; prior classroom or project experience with hardware/software troubleshooting is preferred.

Overview:
This summer internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will assist with the provisioning, installation, and maintenance of system hardware and software while supporting end users. This role is ideal for a student looking to apply technical knowledge to real-world infrastructure and regulated systems.

Responsibilities:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Technical Support: Assist with desktop, laptop, phone, and software support for on-site staff.</li><li>User Management: Help manage and create user accounts within established systems.</li><li>Ticket Management: Monitor the helpdesk queue to respond to, escalate, or close support tickets.</li><li>Infrastructure Monitoring: Provide basic monitoring and support for network infrastructure.</li><li>Compliance: Perform all tasks in accordance with WuXi AppTec policies, cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety procedures.</li><li>Collaboration: Assist IT staff and management on departmental goals and special projects.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Education & Experience<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Current Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>Experience: 0–1 year of technical IT support experience; prior classroom or project experience with hardware/software troubleshooting is preferred.</li></ul>Knowledge & Skills<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Operating Systems: Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 applications.</li><li>Hardware: Fundamental understanding of PC hardware and printer troubleshooting/repair.</li><li>Networking: Basic grasp of Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and general networking principles (LAN/WAN).</li><li>Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to provide excellent customer service.</li><li>Communication: Proficient oral and written communication skills for interacting with team members and end users.</li></ul> Physical Requirements<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Mobility: Ability to stand, sit, walk, crouch, and reach for extended periods while assisting with hardware deployments.</li><li>Lifting: Ability to lift 25 lbs. routinely and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.</li><li>Environment: Must be comfortable working in an office or a laboratory setting, which may include wearing appropriate PPE and exposure to variable noise levels.</li></ul>   Need help finding the right job?We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
