Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Experience in Craniotomy and burr hole procedures - At least 2 years of experience in the relevant service line - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC - Skills: Amputations, Anterior cervical fusion, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Appendectomy, Arthroscopy, Arthrotomy, Burns, Carpal tunnel release, Cervical fusions, Cholecystectomy, Closed reduction of fractures, Colon resection, Craniotomy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, General OR, Gunshot/stab wounds, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Lumbar fusion, Mastectomy, MVA (multiple injuries), Open reduction of fractures, Ortho/Spine, Spinal Fusion, Total joint replacement **Preferred Experience and Qualifications:** - Previous charge experience - Trauma Level I and II experience - Charting system experience, preferably with Allscripts or Altera - Travel experience **Additional Requirements:** - License in hand required with submittal - Medical/Religious exemptions only for flu vaccine - Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including Marijuana; positive results lead to automatic cancellation **Patient Care Details:** - Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics **Additional Unit Support:** - Interdisciplinary supports such as IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more **Charting Systems:** - Allscripts preferred **Compliance and Documentation Requirements:** - Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start, with some flexibility - Modules: Non-billable, average 6-8 hours, completed during orientation.
