Responsibilities: Perform patient evaluations, establish individualized plans of care, select appropriate treatment techniques, conduct reassessments, manage discharge planning, supervise and delegate to ancillary staff and students as permitted by applicable laws and policies, complete accurate documentation, communicate with patients and members of the healthcare team, provide patient and caregiver education, participate in professional development and quality improvement activities, and promote a safe care environment. The physical therapist evaluates patients mobility and functional abilities, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides care to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
