Demonstrate competency with electrosurgical units, surgical technology systems, sterile technique, peripheral IV starts, urinary catheterization, specimen labeling, and blood product administration. Assist with procedures such as abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, colorectal surgery, vascular procedures, orthopedic and spine surgery, laparoscopic procedures, robotic surgery, mastectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystoscopy, and endoscopic cases.
