Job Responsibilities:-Demonstrates competency through annual education and completes validation tools for Unit Specific Requirements: -IABP/Impella -Hemodynamic monitoring -Arterial/venous sheath removals and/or closure devices -Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures -Assisting physicians during the implantation of a permanent pacemaker/ICDs -Aseptic technique -Competency with interventional procedures such as but not limited to; thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart -Management of complications such as but not limited to; air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis reactions, and cardiac tamponade. -Maintains open communication using appropriate chain of command regarding issues -Conducts all work activities with respect for rights and wishes of patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.
