Develop a key understanding of supply market trends and forces impacting the business and develop plans to exploit opportunities; Work with suppliers to introduce innovation to Essity cross functional teams to drive further value to the business and to be an industry leader to outperform competitors and market forces; Work closely with key suppliers to ensure optimum quality, service and cost to enhance Essity’s competitive advantage in the market; Work cross-functionally across plant, hub and functions to plan and drive value from e-sourcing sourcing events (E-Auctions, E-Tenders); Ensure compliance to agreed sourcing processes and transactions that are aligned to Internal Audit and Internal Controls; Coordinate and drive workshops & benchmarking exercises within hub to align and implement best practices within assigned supply stream responsibilities; Work closely with Sourcing Excellence teams to support digital transformation and artificial intelligence; Ensure effective communication across the Hub Sourcing Team to ensure stakeholders are fully informed of all market developments, strategies and key activity status. Experience in lieu of education will be considered; Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience; Minimum of 3 years' experience in operations and/or manufacturing preferred; Technical skills including strong negotiation skills; excellent knowledge of operations management and supply chain processes in a large organization; Strong analytical abilities with excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Persistent drive for results, utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to influence a variety of stakeholders, functions, and organizational levels in a matrix organization; Knowledge of effective technology driven sourcing processes; Experience using SAP ERP, SAP S4/HANA, SAP ARIBA preferred.
