The laboratory technician position is responsible for supporting operations of the Biosciences labs: organizing, preparing, and supplying equipment, reagents, microbial media preps, and materials used for Biosciences laboratory classes, including setups for, but not limited to, general biology, plant biology, biology for allied health, microbiology, and anatomy/physiology. 20% - Assists with cleaning laboratories and the proper storage and/or disposal of laboratory materials, chemicals, cultures, supplies, and equipment used in lab classes; maintains a safe and clean laboratory environment in compliance with lab safety regulations and policies, including the safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintains required records and prepares reports as needed.
