Under general supervision, the Heavy Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment and performs general unskilled and skilled labor involving Solid Waste Operations both at the transfer station and landfill or the maintenance and construction of roads, ditches and other infrastructure. Operates equipment such as solid waste compactors, graders, scrapers, excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, skid-steer, front-end loaders, sweepers, tractor/mowers, tow motors, tractors/mowers, trailers, rollers, off road trucks etc.
