PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist the bus driver in transporting and ensuring the safety of the students with disabilities to and/or from the school campus as well as monitoring student behavior and provide Personal Care Services, Mobility, Cueing/Prompting, Escorting, Positioning, Supervising/Monitoring, and or Transferring, as included in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). This includes assisting students with physical disabilities according to their needs, including transferring to and from wheelchairs, lifting, or positioning, buckling of seatbelts, installing and uninstalling car-seats, star-seats, safety vests, ascending and descending stairs.
