Overview:
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Consumer Loan Processor. Primary Function: Process and fund direct and indirect consumer loan applications to meet the established credit union service standards and promote loan growth. Make process and procedure recommendations to improve efficiencies within the department in order to create a better overall experience for internal and external members.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Review loan packages and documents for accuracy, prepares final loan package for funding. </li><li>Input and verify funding data into the consumer loans origination system to ensure the loan is funded in accordance with lending policies and procedures, disburses loan proceeds and performs associated system maintenance. </li><li>Issue documents required by Truth in Lending and RESPA. </li><li>Operate multiple computer systems in order to accurately respond to dealer, staff and member inquiries regarding existing and pending consumer loan applications. </li><li>Perform follow-up on outstanding documents for existing consumer loan applications in process via Direct and Indirect channels to ensure member satisfaction. </li><li>Recommend process and product improvements to enhance member experience and eliminate waste. </li><li>Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. </li><li>Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. Qualifications:

Overview:
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Home Equity Processor. Primary Function: Process home equity loans and lines of credit applications based on Credit Union Policies, home equity  lending products, home equity guidelines and state and federal regulatory requirements. Primary contact with members and all parties involved in the home equity application process to ensure consistent communication and Credit Union service standards are met.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Process home equity loan applications in compliance with Credit Union lending guidelines. Activates and initiates services for new home equity loan applications.</li><li>Initiate introductory member contact for all new applications, communicating home equity process overview and outstanding documentation. Remain a key point of contact for the member, branch and contact center staff from application submission through clear to close status.</li><li>Manage loan documentation to ensure the data integrity and accuracy of information entered into the loan origination system. Generates loan documents and prepares the home equity file for underwriting.</li><li>Maintain ongoing knowledge of home equity guidelines and state and federal compliance regulations.</li><li>Review all loan information, including, but not limited to credit reports, appraisal reports,  income documentation to confirm accuracy of information in the loan origination system.</li><li>Perform follow-up on outstanding documents with members, appraisers, title agents and other parties to ensure there is no delay in processing the file for final approval.</li><li>Issue documents required by TRID, including re-disclosure for any change of circumstance that occurs within processing.</li><li>Interpret computer system in order to accurately respond to branch and member status inquiries regarding their existing and pending home equity loan applications.</li><li>Responsible reconciliation of departmental general ledger expense accounts used for mortgage closing costs and fees</li><li>Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. <div>The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Office Assistant (Spanish-Speaking).</div><div> This is a Competitive position under New York State Civil Service Law. Per NYS Civil Service Law, any appointment to this position will be made on a Provisional basis, pending the future administration of a Civil Service examination. </div><div>DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:  This position involves the performance of difficult clerical and secretarial tasks which may require operation of such equipment as a personal computer or word-processor. The work requires mature office judgment and knowledge of the policies, laws and regulations relating to the program or the agency in which the position is located. Specific duties vary with the needs of the municipality, department, or division. The Senior Office Assistant is distinguished from the Office Assistant in that this position involves either supervision, the use of a higher degree of independent judgment and/or the more secretarial nature of the work responsibilities.
