Bowhead seeks a Logistics Analyst to support the NAVAIR Crew Served Weapons In-Service Engineering activity in Crane, IN.
Essential functions will include:
- Utilize and manage DD1149 (Application for Correction of Military Record) and DD1348 (DoD Single Line-Item.
Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. Supervises the unloading/loading of raw and finished goods and is responsible for good communication between material suppliers, plant personnel, and customers.

Duties will include all material handling responsibilities internal to the facility (moving raw material to the machines, removing finished materials for shipping, etc.). Essential Functions: The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following: Must be forklift qualified and able to pass the Company forklift-licensing program.
Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Job Duties: Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.

Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and 5 years or more experience; Masters and 3 years of related experience 3-5 years preferred in DMSMS field Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD)/Department of War (DoW) programs with a focus on program offices such as MQ-4C Triton or P-8A Poseidon. Responsibilities: Perform Obsolescence Analysis: Analyze parts, components, and materials for obsolescence risks using technical databases, specialized software, market research, and supplier engagement tools (e.g., PDMLink, Q-Star, Haystack, BOM Manager).

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that will be primarily onsite at the customer location, working directly with manufacturing plants, carriers, and internal logistics teams to keep shipments moving on time.
