Position Overview: The Innovation Industries department at NYCEDC oversees real estate and capital projects, financial incentive utilization, government wayfinding and regulatory reform, workforce initiatives, and diverse entrepreneurship programs to ensure New York City remains a global leader in innovation, and that we provide pathways of opportunity for all New Yorkers in our tech, green economy, climate tech, and creative industries. The AVP will work in a matrixed environment working on projects that span industries such as battery energy storage, solar, building electrification, climate tech, and sustainable transportation, and horizontal topic areas such as workforce and business development in addition to managing and coaching Senior Project managers and project managers.
