Qualified persons must posse work experience and the ability to perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery, set-up new machinery and equipment, perform skilled tasks such as welding, burning, brazing, fabricating, pipe fitting, rigging, carpentry, machining work, modifications, and installation. Must possess basic mechanical and electrical knowledge and be able to read and interpret prints, diagrams, drawings, schematics, programs, and operating instructions to fabricate tools, fixtures, workstation equipment, as well as have the ability to troubleshoot, repair and upgrade machinery.
