The technician will also oversee hazardous waste management for castings department, with primary focus on integrity in castings areas to prevent and control spills, coordinate immediate response with the EHS/hazardous waste team if spills occur, ensure hazardous waste is handled correctly and on the required locations, organize with EHS Hazardous Waste team for compliance with regulations and waste pickup. Manage organized, labeled inventory of parts and tools (FLUX preferred), including lineside spares, min/max levels, ordering, cycle counts, cost control, kitting/staging, critical spares monitoring, warehouse follow-ups, and analysis of costs/failures versus expected life.
