As a Brand Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to represent the brand in your own style while sharing product information and samples with consumers. Opportunities may include in-store samplings, bar/restaurant events, and community or festival appearances.How It Works As an independent contractor, you will have access to a list of upcoming promotional opportunities. You choose the events and hours that work best for your schedule.Possible Engagement Activities(varies by event)<ul><li>Share product and brand information with event attendees.</li><li>Invite consumers to sample products and answer basic questions.</li><li>Distribute promotional items or materials at the event site.</li><li>Collect and submit event feedback through the Company Sampling Portal.</li><li>Coordinate event logistics with a designated SNFood & Beverage contact before the scheduled date.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Ongoing commitment and reliable availability are essential.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to engage with the public.</li><li>Professional and approachable demeanor.</li><li>Access to reliable transportation.</li><li>Must be 21 years of age.</li></ul>Contractors are responsible for their own business expenses, including any materials needed to perform services. Reimbursement for approved expenses and payment for services rendered will be issued in accordance with the Company's standard payment schedule.Certain events or locations may require alcohol service certification or permits in accordance with state or local regulations. Contractors are responsible for determining and maintaining any required certifications or licenses applicable to the services they choose to perform. Job Description/Responsibilities:
Join Sazerac as a key partner to vibrant on-premise (think lively restaurants and bars) and bustling off-premise locations (grocery stores, convenience stores, and liquor stores) to achieve volume and distribution sales goals for our brands across Sazerac's diverse spirits portfolio! What You’ll Be Doing: As a Market Development Representative, you and your team will play a pivotal role in our success story. The role involves:  <ul><li>Crafting Solutions for Growth: Implement and manage innovative solutions to boost business for assigned accounts, ensuring Sazerac brands soar in market share.  </li><li>Brand Building: Use consumer and category trends as your toolkit to educate customers, solve challenges, and skyrocket sales – building brands is an art.  </li><li>Distribution: Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.  </li><li>Volume Objectives: Help achieve volume objectives for the core brands in our diverse portfolio.  </li><li>Strategic Programs: Implement and execute programs that deliver on distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotional goals – turning plans into results.  </li><li>Rapport Building: Develop mutually valuable rapport with assigned customers by understanding their needs and requirements.   </li><li>Communication & Collaboration: Take center stage as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and our internal dream team. </li><li>KPI Monitoring: We track established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure we consistently reach our goals.  </li></ul>*Job responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory requirements for the state.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Highlight your accomplishments and the impact you've made in your sales career!<ul><li>Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.  </li><li>Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG (consumer packaged goods) industries.  New college graduates require a sales/marketing internship or full/part-time sales role (preferably in consumer-packaged goods) and/or sales competition experience. </li><li>Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals. </li><li>Technical Savvy: Demonstrated successful use of sales data analytics and tools to drive sales results, identify market trends, and produce measurable results.  </li><li>Mobility: A valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory is required.  </li><li>Schedule: Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends. </li><li>Location: Live in or near the territory. </li><li>Expenses: Ability to personally cover ordinary and essential business expenses that will be promptly reimbursed. </li><li>Compliance: Required to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state. </li></ul>Physical Requirements: <ul><li>Standing for an extended period of time  </li><li>Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35lbs without assistance </li><li>Ascend or descend stairs  </li><li>Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day </li><li>Strong communication skills</li></ul> #LI-MJ1

Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations. For roles within our commercial team - the Salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel or cell phone reimbursement.
