The Billing & Coding Specialist will ensure claims are submitted accurately and on time, investigate and resolve billing issues, prepare routine financial and claims reports, communicate with patients, providers, and insurance payers, and assist with credentialing activities. Reporting to the Business Manager, this position is responsible for healthcare billing, coding, claims management, insurance payer communication, patient payments and collections, credentialing support, reporting, and electronic medical record (EMR) system support.
