Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director will support communication and collaboration with OMH Program Leadership (Adult, Children, Forensic, Nursing, Health Services, Planning, Quality, etc.), OMH operated Psychiatric Centers (PCs), OMH Field Offices, other State agencies (DOH, OASAS, OPWDD, OCM, etc.), and academic medical centers across the state, to promote quality and coordination of care for high-need populations. 4) Medicaid Managed Care (MMC): Support oversight of MMC and mental health parity initiatives including medical necessity reviews, MMC organization Medical Directors meetings, organization operational Surveys, and support as needed to OMH Division of Managed Care or OMH Deputy Counsel for Finance.
