Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; competency with chest tubes, stable tracheostomy management, intravenous skills, ports and central lines, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP), Airvo, Foley catheter care, feeding tubes, cardiac rhythm interpretation, insulin and heparin or argatroban infusions, and titration of Cardizem and amiodarone infusions. Additional Information: This is a medical-surgical float pool role requiring assignment to medical-surgical units throughout the healthcare facility, including emergency department holding and boarding areas.
