The Manager of Midwifery Education and Professional Development, under the direct supervision and guidance of the Director of Midwifery, will be responsible for the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical guidelines, leading initiatives to evaluate and implement best practices, overseeing the onboarding and orientation of new graduate advanced practice providers and providing mentorship for newly hired advanced practice providers. The Manager of Midwifery Education and Professional Development will be responsible for the professional performance, quality of care and creating a safe learning environment for the Obstetric Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units, including providing direct leadership and supervision for designated CNMs and APPs.
