Operates and inspects machines and equipment to diagnose defects and performs maintenance and repair on a broad range of heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to skid steers, loaders, dozers, graders, cranes, generators, water trucks, fuel trucks, lube trucks, forklifts, aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, heavy-haul trailers, passenger vehicles, heavy-haul trucks, yard mules, excavators, backhoes, trenchers, pile drivers, and ATVs. Serves as a technical resource and subject matter expert for heavy equipment maintenance and repair, providing hands-on guidance and mentoring to project mechanics on complex troubleshooting and repair activities.
