Continuously make resident care rounds, placing side rails, reposition residents, encouraging and alleviating distress using proper methodology. Assist with toileting via bedpan, urinal, bedside commode, or to the bathroom, following toileting schedules.

p>Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to resident call lights and assess needs • Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily activities including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility • Reposition and turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores • Monitor and support residents' dietary needs, including restrictions and preferences • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment • Perform additional duties as required or directed. In this vital support role, you will assist residents with their daily care needs under the supervision of a nurse, helping to ensure their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

p>What You''ll Be Doing:

• Become a trusted companion to our residents by providing compassionate personal care assistancethink of yourself as their go-to helper for daily activities like bathing, grooming, and dressing. Duties may include but are not limited to: assisting the client with maintaining proper personal hygiene; supporting a clean, safe, and healthy environment; planning and preparing nutritious meals; assisting with and demonstrating proper body mechanics during ambulation and transfers; assisting with certain treatments as ordered by the physician and supervised by the RN; assisting with ADLs; accurately measuring and recording the client’s temperature, pulse, and respiration; and accompanying the client to appointments. Immediate opening for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EXPERIENCED Home Health Aide (HHA) willing to travel to Macomb County Mound Rd & 26 Mile Area to provide One-On-One patient care.

Our HHA/CNA provides paraprofessional services to the organization's home care clients as developed by the primary nurse and as prescribed by their physician and in compliance with the state's Nurse Practice Act, and any other regulations defining home health aide / hospice aide services.
