Provide skilled restorative treatments for pain reduction, development/restoration/maintenance of functions, including treatments using moist heat whirlpool (portable), paraffin baths, gait training, ultrasound electrical muscle stimulation, test and measurements for ROM (use of goniometer), instruct/establish/supervise exercise programs, prosthetic training, balance, coordination training, cardiovascular rehab, and instruction in home safety. Direct and supervise Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Nursing Aide, and Home Health Aide in care given to patients, and provide supervisory visits as necessary.
