The role includes pre- and post-cardiac procedure care, sheath removal, transcatheter aortic valve replacement removal, care for patients admitted from the emergency department, trauma surgery, and general surgery. The role provides care for patients undergoing medical, trauma surgery, general surgery, and selected cardiac-related procedures, including adolescent patients age 14 and older.
