Patient Types: Cardiac and Vascular Care: MI, post-operative open heart surgery (including TAVR and fem-pop bypass within 24 hours), pre- and post-op open-heart patients (24-48 hours post-op), cardiac arrhythmias, Tikosyn therapy, pacemakers, ICDs, and PCU-level patients (requiring higher care but not ICU criteria). Able to care for cardiovascular patient, identify, interpret rhythms, Cardiac Drip Management: nitro, heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, dopamine (fixed rate), dobutamine(fixed rate), Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Epidurals, Chest Tubes; Behavior and Personality Fit: The unit places high importance on behavioral and personality alignment.
