To provide, under the general supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director and according to established policies and procedures of the department, diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients, to help patients reach maximum performance level, and to use these skills to the fullest to function in the community within the limits of their capabilities. Provides practice in functional, therapeutic, prevocational, vocational, and homemaking skills, and activities of daily living, based on findings from a formal evaluation/assessment by the OTR/L and approved by the referring physician/designee.
