Under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager, the Student and Educational Success Specialist will assist with implementation of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) by co-facilitating program work readiness classes, assisting with client management, participating in outreach activities, determining program eligibility, conducting assessments, providing initial and on-going career counseling, and other support activities of the program. The Student and Education Success Specialist must be able to interact professionally with program participants, college staff/administration and outside agencies; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; good organizational skills; experience with or knowledge of educational programs; well-developed presentation skills and job search services; plus, other duties as assigned, including the following.
