HSW Childrens Program staff should have competencies which demonstrate they understand child and life span development, dynamics of family relationships, family support, and parenting education (e.g., principles methods and approaches, parent guidance and nurturing principles, child and family health and safety concerns, concepts of diversity in family systems, and relationships among family, school, and community). Milwaukee County oversees operations from our Airport, Behavioral Health, Child Support, Combined Court Operations, Sheriffs Department, Community Reintegration Center, Human Services, Parks, Public Safety, Public Works, Fleet Operations, Transportation, and at the Zoo.
