Collaboration & Coordination: Work cross-functionally with commanders, staff, intelligence, communications, cyber, and civilian subject matter experts to ensure IO plans are relevant, realistic, and fully integrated into broader operational frameworks. The IO Planner draws on a deep understanding of Information-Related Capabilities (IRCs)-including Psychological Operations (PSYOP), Military Deception (MILDEC), Electronic Warfare (EW), and cyber operations-to shape the information environment, influence adversary perceptions, and protect friendly force intentions.
