Adult and pediatric patients >15 years old; common patient populations and cases include neurosurgery with a thrombectomy program, respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, general surgery, psych/overdose, GI bleeds, and cancer-specific surgeries including esophagectomy. Equipment, procedures, and monitoring include Impella, balloon pump, CRRT, CVPs, A-lines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring, Zoll Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, and Bell Mont rapid transfuser; prior experience is not required for some items and real-time training is available.
