Observes and maintains home environment to ensure the safety and security of the client; Assists with household chores including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry; Assists in completing activities such as shopping and appointments outside the home; Provides companionship including, but not limited to, social interaction, conversation, emotional reassurance, encouragement of reading, writing, and mind-stimulating activities; Performs or assists the client with personal hygiene, including bathing, hair care, mouth care, and dressing, when skilled skin care, skilled transfer, or skilled dressing is not required. Maintains timely service records of home visits; Attends and participates in appropriate client care conferences, staff and education meetings, and agency committee meetings.
