Skills: Acute Care, AROM (Active Range of Motion)/AAROM (Active-Assisted Range of Motion)/PROM (Passive Range of Motion), assessment, assistive devices, bed alarms, call lights, cardiopulmonary conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), cognitive disorders, congestive heart failure, use of crutches, evaluation, extremity mobilization, gait training, geriatrics, post-surgical rehabilitation, skin integrity management, safety and injury prevention, sensory response, signs & symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, sliding boards, strength testing, time management, vestibular therapy, vital sign monitoring, and patient family education. Additional clinical experience with post-operative care, stroke rehabilitation, total joint replacements, and related procedures is preferred.
