MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Employee demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit as indicated by the following: Demonstrates ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. PA will monitor the patients' progress and provide any care or assistance as needed, or as ordered by the attending physicians, e.g., H&P exams, dressing changes, cast/splint application, application of various orthopedic equipment and soft-goods, etc. to provide the patients' comfort and recovery.
