In this capacity, you will contribute to housing projects and initiatives that seek to provide our citizens with decent, safe, sanitary, energy-efficient, and affordable housing through the following actions: Inspecting: Collaborating with local agencies, property managers, and owners to conduct comprehensive inspections of completed and ongoing weatherization and repair work. (Examples include the U.S. Department of Energy’s Weatherization Assistance Program, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, the Virginia Department of Social Services Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, and the Weatherization Deferral Program).
