Required Qualifications: (1) an earned doctorate in psychology, conferred no later than July 2027, with specialty area open; (2) a clear record of promise as a scholar; (3) the ability to teach courses in areas of need for the department (see above); (4) the ability to create a sense of inclusion and belonging in the classroom, and to infuse multicultural content into course material as appropriate; (5) strong commitment to excellence in teaching, including an appreciation of or engagement in high-impact teaching practices; (6) ability to contribute to the Jesuit educational mission of the department and university. Such expertise includes psychological assessment (personality assessment, cognitive assessment, assessment and appraisal), developmental or clinical-developmental psychology (child, adolescent, lifespan, gero psychology), research (research methods, statistics, measurement), biopsychology, neuropsychology, and/or health psychology.
