To coordinate and incorporate training on Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia for health care providers into existing University of Hawaii health professions programs; Review, update, and develop a dementia curriculum to be incorporated into appropriate existing University of Hawaii health professions and health science programs to establish a local, informed dementia workforce; Work with the Department Chair and other stakeholders to write and submit annual reports to the legislature on the progress of developing a coordinated aging and dementia curricular focus, which includes interprofessional and interdisciplinary education as appropriate.
