Utilize KMHS approved external resources to obtain progress notes and diagnoses, view laboratory results, enter data into National registries, verify insurance coverage information and, upon request, monitor prescriptions for controlled substances in the state database. Assist the medical provider with timely communication with primary and specialty medical care providers, acute care hospitals, inpatient psychiatric treatment facilities, and emergency departments.
