Own inventory planning for assigned products, ensuring material availability aligns with production needsReview MRP system outputs and turn planned orders into purchase orders to support forecasted demandPlace, manage, and maintain purchase orders across assigned commodities and suppliersActively monitor material shortages and take the lead on expediting components to avoid production delaysPartner with suppliers to manage delivery schedules, resolve changes, and ensure on?time material flowRequest and evaluate supplier quotes, preparing pricing summaries and cost comparisonsTrack purchase price variances and support cost analysis efforts across key commoditiesSupport consignment inventory programs at supplier locations, when applicableCoordinate resolution and disposition of non?conforming materials in collaboration with quality and suppliersShare insights on supplier performance, including delivery reliability and quality, and participate in supplier visits as needed. Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in purchasing, materials, or supply chain rolesExperience working with inventory planning, MRP, supplier coordination, and purchasing processesComfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environmentStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and follow?throughProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables strongly preferred)Hands?on experience with ERP systems; Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud preferredBackground supporting manufacturing or high?technology environments, including mechanical componentsFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and Kanban systemsAPICS CPIM and/or CPP certification is a plus.
