The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking with a focus on commercial lending and possess in-depth knowledge of commercial loan documentation. The Loan Operations Quality Control Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of loan maintenance processes within the department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•	The Loan Operations Quality Control Specialist will be primarily responsible for conducting a thorough secondary review of all loan maintenance activities processed within the department.This will encompass the following maintenance tasks:•	Reviewing new loan input.•	Assessing modifications and renewals.•	Verifying miscellaneous maintenance changes, including rate adjustments, coding updates, escrow changes, and payment schedule modifications.•	Evaluating any other various loan changes as requested.•	Additionally, the Loan Operations Quality Control Specialist will provide valuable support by assisting with various department projects as needed.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:•	5-7 years of banking experience, specifically in commercial lending, demonstrating a strong understanding of lending processes and regulations.•	An in-depth knowledge of commercial loan documentation, with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.•	Prior experience in loan operations and/or loan maintenance, enabling you to navigate the intricacies of loan processing efficiently.•	High School Diploma or Equivalent, providing a foundation of basic educational qualifications.•	Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles, aiding in your comprehension of loan-related financial concepts.•	Proficiency in computer software, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to several internal programs used for loan maintenance.•	Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with both internal team members and external customers.•	The ability to think proactively, multitask, and work independently without constant supervision.•	Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.WORK ENVIRONMENT: We offer a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote after the initial 90-day period.COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE:In accordance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are committed to providing transparent wage information for all posted job opportunities.
