The program assistant will be responsible for patient scheduling, physician scheduling, building new patient charts, pre-authorization verification, scanning all consents, ordering office supplies, managing work queues and fax queues, provide timely follow-up with outside referring physician offices, and providing accurate and consistent information across all health care computer systems. Responsibilities: Complex Scheduling Works closely with outside physician offices and internal physicians to schedule new patient oncology consults, treatment plans, therapy plans, follow-up appointments, bone marrow biopsies, diagnostic imaging, and referrals to outside providers.
