This role supports the General Counsel by providing comprehensive legal counsel across a broad range of matters, with approximately 70% of responsibilities focused on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development matters, and M&A-related activity, and approximately 30% focused on broader in-house legal matters such as commercial contracting, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation management. The successful candidate will support a real estate portfolio of more than 750 owned and leased properties across 42 U.S. states and 8 Canadian provinces while providing practical, business-minded legal counsel that protects the company's interests, facilitates strategic growth, and supports key business objectives.
