p>Under the direction of the Field Supervisor or Superintendent, the Crew Leader directly supervises a work crew and participates in Park functions including, maintenance and upkeep of parks medians, landscape, parks and event facilities, and TXDOT right-of-ways, park construction, sports league and other event set up, support and break down, and sport field pre-work. Oversees and participates in event set up, support and break down, for all Parks & Recreation Department events which include sports fields, recreation and aquatics, Wetlands, and Nature Center, and special events including Christmas parade, July 4th celebration, Special Olympics, etc.
