Our registered nurses receive additional training to give them the knowledge and tools to succeed, such as an ECG class, an acute care class, a PCU Class that includes invasive monitoring, LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) training and ACLS certification. This unit provides the opportunity to care for acute and intermediate conditions, titrate high risk drips, heart failure management (including post-heart transplant), and care for patients requiring continuous telemetry.
