Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, central line and PICC line management, peripheral line care, BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube care, oxygen administration, CVA and substance withdrawal management, heparin and insulin administration, cardiac drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry monitoring, rapid response team utilization, and isolation precautions/PPE. Experience with ports, blood product administration, high flow nasal cannula, oral suctioning, colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, PCA, and wound care/wound vac preferred.
