Maintain mammalian cell cultures (immortalized, engineered, and primary cells) using aseptic technique, including thawing, passaging, cryopreservation, cell counting/viability assessment, and routine mycoplasma testing; plate and prepare cells for downstream assays. Use automated liquid handlers and other lab automation to increase throughput and reproducibility of plate-based assays; help develop, program, and validate new protocols on these instruments, including verifying accuracy and precision against manual methods.
