Responsibilities:
<h2>What You'll Be Responsible For as HR & Business Office Coordinator:</h2><h3>Recruitment & Employee Onboarding</h3><ul><li>Coordinate hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation activities for the community</li><li>Support recruitment efforts through job postings, hiring events, employee referrals, and community outreach</li><li>Ensure new hire paperwork, licensing, health clearances, and onboarding requirements are completed accurately and timely</li><li>Serve as a resource to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and general employment questions</li></ul><h3>Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration</h3><ul><li>Assist with payroll processing, timecard review, and HRIS data maintenance</li><li>Support employee benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and employment record management</li><li>Maintain personnel files, compliance documentation, and required reporting</li><li>Coordinate employee recognition, retention initiatives, and engagement activities</li></ul><h3>Employee Relations & Operational Support</h3><ul><li>Help managers navigate employee concerns, performance documentation, and policy interpretation</li><li>Support a positive workplace culture through communication, consistency, and employee support</li><li>Partner with community leadership on staffing, scheduling coordination, and HR best practices</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all employee matters</li></ul><h3>Business Office & Resident Financial Support</h3><ul><li>Assist with resident billing, private pay accounts, deposits, reconciliations, and business office operations</li><li>Support admissions paperwork and resident account documentation</li><li>Help maintain accurate census, financial records, and reporting</li><li>Serve as a professional point of contact for residents and families regarding billing and account-related questions</li></ul><h3>General Administrative Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements</li><li>Support audits, reporting, and month-end administrative processes</li><li>Assist with special projects, operational initiatives, and community events as needed</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, staff, and visitors</li></ul>

Qualifications:
HR & Business Office Coordinator<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field OR a minimum of five years of experience in a Human Resources management role.</li><li>At least one year of demonstrated business training, including typing and bookkeeping</li><li>PHR is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge in state & federal labor laws, FMLA, OHSA, & COBRA.</li><li>Must have prior recruitment and employee onboarding experience.</li><li>Prior payroll and benefits experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, highly organized, detail oriented, & quality focused.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills required.</li><li>Effectively prioritize job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to successfully self-manage and work autonomously.</li><li>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
