Job Purpose:
Shift Leaders need to ensure customer satisfaction by consistently providing good quality products in a timely fashion. Shift Leaders need to be available to work at least 25 hours per week and be able to work night shifts on the busier days (Friday, Saturday, Halloween, etc.) Must be 18 years old or older for this position because it requires opening/closing shifts.

Scheduling: This position is a part time and full-time and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as Loaf N Jug locations can be open 24 hours depending on the location.

Manages department supplies inventory by researching costs, designing inventory systems, determining inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, and approving orders. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; and ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and guests. Carrying our supervisory duties such as recruitment and hiring, training, directing workflow, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints and problems.

A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, able to lift 25-50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, occasionally use motion which entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. Monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent; ensures systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to by management and team members; identifies and develops internal candidates for management and Team Leader Works with restaurant team to ensure effective execution of "My Promise to You" and the Service Profit Chain; creates a restaurant environment that friendly, fun, clean, and safe; treats all employees with care and respect; motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance while adhering to Company procedures; recognizes and rewards employees appropriately.
