Candidates must be willing and eligible to travel.About the RoleAs a Controls & Vision Engineer, you will design, develop, and commission integrated automation systems that combine PLC controls, robotics, and advanced machine vision technologies.This role will support BOS’s TrueLight projects - a specialized vision-focused division of BOS Innovations dedicated to machine vision automation. TrueLight focuses on advanced inspection and robotic guidance solutions, leveraging 2D/3D vision and AI-enabled technologies to improve manufacturing quality, precision, and overall system performance. What you ll be doing: Support and lead digital factory updates using Delmia C3, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools. Evaluate Z1 and Z2 welding processes for feasibility. Estimate cycle times for robotic welding processes. Develop 3D concept models for welding equipment and end-of-arm tooling. Work with multiple data formats to develop robotic welding strategies. Perform offline robot teaching using digital engineering software. Support engineering teams with body weld model change activities. Create documentation to support both offline and onsite robot teaching activities.
