Job Title: Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: BLS, NRP, NBRC Must-Have: - Proficiency in Medicated Aerosol Therapy - Experience with small volume nebulizers - Ability to provide patient education for aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapy - Knowledge of DPI, MDI, and holding chamber usage - Familiarity with medication carts and bar coding medication administration - Competence in suctioning and manual ventilation - Assistance with intubation and supported ventilation - Experience in high-risk deliveries and surfactant administration - Understanding of NRP protocol and T-piece ventilation - Skills in blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation - Experience with humidified therapy, aerosol masks, nasal cannulas, and oxygen masks Description: The Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist will work in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery. This role involves covering deliveries and addressing the respiratory needs of mothers in post-partum care and infants in specialty care.
