The English Language Arts (ELA) teacher supports Shelton School District's Strategic Plan by developing students' academic skills through academic courses of study and implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, families, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. Benefits: 12 sick leave days of which 6 can be used for personal leave each school year; 5 days bereavement leave per school year; Leave will be prorated based on number of contracted days remaining within the school year based on start date; health insurance benefits through the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) including medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance for employee and eligible dependents.
